My video editing skills are minimal at best, but I do enjoy watching the YouTube tutorials of origami enthusiasts who have generously decided to share their creations. According to an article I recently ran across at Auckland Now, some of these paper folders are even turning their videos into a steady second income. Julia Zhu has a YouTube channel featuring tutorials for 3D versions of popular anime and Disney characters. With over 10,500 subscribers, she earns about $200 per week from her tutorials. I applaud her for her efforts to teach origami to a global audience while helping to pay for her college education in the process.
If you'd like to post some of your own origami tutorials to YouTube, About Desktop Video has an excellent tutorial to help you get started.
