Happy Halloween! If you need help resisting the urge to nibble on Halloween candy all day long, I suggest folding a few origami projects. (Origami is a wonderful distraction if you're trying to lose a few pounds, since it's hard to fold neatly with fingers that are sticky from melted chocolate.)

The About Origami paper ghost was a hit at my son's Halloween party, so I'd highly recommend this as a kid-friendly Halloween craft project. If you don't have children at home, another cute idea is to fold tiny origami gift boxes from orange and black paper, then fill them with candy or homemade goodies for friends, coworkers, or neighborhood trick-or-treaters. Halloween cookie bark is my personal favorite, although About Lowfat Cooking has some great ideas for non-edible treats that would be fun to pass out.
